mouse pincushion workshop
Come and spend a few hours of relaxing slow stitching to make a mischief of mice. We will be hand constructing a decorative mouse pincushion using an embroidered tray cloth, table cloth, or mat that you may have inherited from a relative and it is sitting unused and unloved in a drawer.
Some fabrics and threads will be provided – although
you may have a stash of special fabrics, threads and haberdashery that you may want to include.
You will need to bring a vintage embroidered
tray cloth, table cloth , handkerchief or other item you would like to repurpose in the workshop for the main body of the mouse. It doesn’t have to be a very big piece of fabric; smaller special scraps could be patchworked together.
This workshop is suitable for beginners or experienced sewers.
